Cinderella

Leave Britney Alone!
"All the dreamers in the world are dizzy in the noodle." - Fairy Godmother

This is the start of a new series. It is entitled Glee Episodes I Want To See. Essentially, it boils down to this: I watch Glee, a lot. Like I have every episode, attained through entirely legal means of course, on my computer. I watch through my favorites on the regular. I also watch each individual episode at least four times within a week or the original airing. It's pretty ridiculous actually. Wait, no it's not, it's amazing! Anyway, as any fan(atic) I am convinced that my ideas are a million times better than  anything the show's creators could come up with. Obviously, my years of experience in television production, casting and choreography are being wasted. Shut up, don't judge me. My first installment, if you haven't guessed from the picture I chose is a tribute to Internet Fame.

Naturally, the first thing you want to figure out is the song selection. We've had three tribute episodes, two with 6 songs, and one with eleven. Averaging gives us about seven songs, which is the number I've chosen. Again, don't judge me, if they played it, you'd watch it over and over again. The premise of course would be Rachel's canon declaration that she uploads a video every day just to keep her talent alive. What's to say she doesn't force the entire glee club to do the same.

Mario Kart Love Song, by Sam Hart. Sung by Artie and Brittany
Doing Your Mom, by Fatty Spins. Sung by Puck, Artie, Finn, Sam and Mike with the football team as back up.
Chocolate Rain, by Tay Zonday sung by Mercedes and Lauren Zizes
Numa Numa (Dragostea din Tei), by O-Zone sung by New Directions.
Apple Store Love Song, by Fatty Spins sung by Kurt and Blaine.
My Whole Family, by Bo Burnham sung by Karofsky and Bieste.
My Eyes, from Doctor Horrible: Sung by Will Schuester and Sue Sylvester in reverse casting.

Seriously, I put a lot of thought into these choices. I even tried to not include two songs by Fatty Spins (aka Ray William Johnson) but I needed a final song and couldn't think of anything better for either Kurt or Puck. I've also developed an entire plot for the episode that would give a great exit story for Karofsky and solidify the geekiness of Kurt while making the entire cast shine. (Except for Quinn, Santana and Tina who have been getting too much screen time lately)

I picked Mario Kart Love Song not only because of Artie's declared love for video games, but also because of the fact that he's in a wheel chair, and it would be tres amusing. I've also noticed that Brittany has a tendency to perform better in cute songs as opposed to serious numbers. This song would be a great opportunity for her to show off her dancing

I picked Doin' Your Mom, because of Puck's obsession with MILFs, and because it's a great man song to sing. I figure it would be a great opportunity to see the football team in action again.

Chocolate Rain is just plain outrageous and I think Mercedes and Lauren would effing blow that shit out of the water. It would be a hilarious opportunity for two genuinely underplayed characters to get some spotlight while poking fun at the internet generation. Note that Rachel gets no solo screen time, which is an intentional act. Since she'd be the inspiration and does daily videos anyway.

Numa Numa, more appropriately known as Dragostea Din Tei, by O-Zone has been a secret passion of mine for years. When it was attached to a viral video, I actually stopped listening to it for a while, but it really is the epitome of Internet Famous. It is a great song for the glee club.

Apple Store Love Song is another song by Fatty Spins, or Ray William Johnson. It is a great cute adorable song, that can easily be transformed into a duet, and shortened without losing a lot of it's meaning.

My Whole Family .... You know. just listen to the song and you'll get it. Furthermore, you'll understand why these two characters needs to sing this song together. Legit.

I chose My Eyes because I wanted to have a Doctor Horrible song included but couldn't decide on one. When I realized that Will and Sue needed songs, I immediately jumped on this one. Another option would have been the So They Say song, which would have offered another ensemble piece, but I decided that would be too long, and too outrageous. Granted, it would have been a great opportunity to bring back some of the outlying cast, like our favorite newscasters. If you haven't seen Doctor Horrible, kill yourself.

So, there you have it. My first pick of a Glee episode I'd like to see. more to come soon. New gleewinds begin next week as well, so worry naught, I'll be bringing sexy back soon enough.
